Business Area Manager – Scan Industries

At AS SCAN, we are looking for an experienced and self-driven Business Area Manager for our Scan Industries business area. This is a key position where you will take full responsibility for the area's operations and development – from sales and project management to budget, service and aftersales.

Scan Industries primarily sells and services high-voltage electrode boilers for district heating and industry.

Your responsibilities

As Business Area Manager, you are the external face and internal anchor of the business area. Your tasks will include:

• Overall responsibility for budget, sales and business development within Scan Industries
• New sales as well as maintaining and developing existing customer relationships
• Project management from initial dialogue and quotation through to delivery and completion
• Coordination with technicians, subcontractors and partners
• Service, support and aftersales – including follow-up and long-term customer relationships
• Ongoing reporting and strategic sparring with management

Your profile

You are an experienced professional who thrives on responsibility and delivering results. You know how to combine commercial drive with technical insight and the ability to manage complex projects.

We imagine that you:

• Have documented experience in sales and/or project management of technical solutions
• Are accustomed to working independently and taking ownership of a business area
• Have strong communication and negotiation skills across customers and partners
• Are structured, solution-oriented and comfortable with responsibility

Experience from a similar position is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Location

The position is based primarily at our head office in Hvide Sande, Western Jutland.
