Sales of technical solutions for commercial vessels

At AS SCAN, we are looking for another maritime sales representative for our business areas Scan Winch and Scan Steering. The position focuses on sales of winches and steering systems for commercial vessels worldwide. You will work closely with customers, our technical department, and suppliers.

 

You will be part of the sales process from the initial dialogue and needs assessment to the final quotation and subsequent follow-up. The position is suitable both for those with experience and for those who are earlier in their career and eager to learn.

 

Your primary responsibilities

Your tasks will include:

  • Contact and dialogue with new and existing customers
  • Development of customized solutions in collaboration with our engineers
  • Obtaining and structuring prices and quotations from suppliers
  • Calculation and pricing of quotations
  • Preparation of detailed and comprehensive quotation descriptions
  • Registration and follow-up on quotations

 

Your profile

You have an interest in technical solutions and thrive working in a structured and detail-oriented manner. It is not a requirement that you have worked with similar sales previously -- the most important thing is that you have a technical understanding, are proficient in Excel, and want to work with sales.

Workplace
