Steering systems and hydraulic installation
We have for many years collaborated with Vestværftet, which designs and builds modern fishing vessels. We supply steering gear to next all their ships. Plus we have delivered and installed several complete hydraulic packages with control systems.
On this 28-meter trawler for the Orkney Islands, we have supplied steering gear, movable trawl block arrangement, and made a complete hydraulic installation.
Hydraulic installation and steering system on a Vestværftet newbuilding
Come on board the newbuilding Danny Finn, shortly before the vessels first fishing sea trial, where hydraulics and fishing equipment are tested. Danny Finn is a stern trawler designed and built by Vestværftet, and AS SCAN has made a complete hydraulic installation and steering system.
