Planned service and software update on electrode boiler systems in Nürnberg

AS SCAN’s service team has recently been in Nuremberg, where we carried out service work on two electrode boilers at N-ERGIE Kraftwerke GmbH.

Service work on industrial electrode boilers at N-ERGIE Kraftwerke in Nuremberg, focusing on operational reliability and technical installations.

The assignment included service on two 25 MW electrode boiler units and replacement of electrode tips – six per boiler – as part of the planned maintenance programme. In addition, a software update was completed in close cooperation with Parat, with remote support playing a key role in ensuring an efficient and smooth execution.

Service tasks like these are not only about technology and components. They are just as much about operational reliability, experience, and effective collaboration – especially when the work is carried out across national borders and involves multiple parties.

We would like to thank everyone involved for the good cooperation and look forward to continuing our work together.
