Designed to move trawl blocks
With AS Scan movable trawl block arrangement, each block can be moved transverse, remotely controlled from the wheelhouse. This gives the vessel an outstanding turning performance during towing. The rudder is one of the main drag sources contributing to the total ship resistance, but by adjusting the block position when you trawl you reduce the rudder drag and effectively reduce the operational costs.
The gallows can be delivered as a piston or chain solution.
