Annual service
In 2010, Hvide Sande Fjernvarme had a 10 MW electric boiler installed. Since then, we have done annual servicing on the system. Yet again it was time for the annual service, whereby they were visited by our technicians.
The service broadly includes:
✔ Empty the boiler for water and clean the tank and parts
✔ Review gaskets and valves
✔ Check electrodes for wear
✔ Ensure that the porcelain which insulates the high-voltage lead-through is in good condition
When the entire system has been tested, a final check of the safety equipment is carried out, and then the boiler is ready to make hot water for yet another year.
